LIMITATIONS IN THE BOHR MODEL: A DEEPER LOOK

While groundbreaking for its time, the Bohr model featured several shortcomings that ultimately became its overthrow. One primary limitation was its failure to completely predict the emissions of multi-electron atoms. The model also failed to account for phenomena like quantumtunneling.
